Mitsubishi Motors New Zealand (MMNZ) has confirmed the new Outlander Sport HEV will be available in dealerships from the start of December.
Is the Outlander Sport HEV a hybrid or a plug-in hybrid?
The Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is a Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV), not a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV). This means you don’t need to plug it in to charge. The hybrid battery is recharged through the vehicle’s petrol engine and regenerative braking as you drive.
What colours will it come in?
Six exterior colours are available – Rose Red, Volt Yellow, Graphite Grey, Aspiring White, Blade Silver and Pitch Black – with five contrasting black-roof combinations available on the two-tone VRX.

Launch pricing starts at $39,990 +ORC for XLS model and the VRX model starts at $46,990 +ORC.
